History
The Chiltern Lift Company Ltd was established in Buckinghamshire in 1972 and carries a wealth of experience through to the present day. The company is owned and run by its original founders and is split into two core business areas:
- Domestic installations including stairlifts, hoists, through floor lifts and step lifts
- Lift installations including passenger, goods and bed lifts
We pride ourselves on our professional engineering standards and our use of premium suppliers to ensure the highest quality of service.

Accreditation


The company is a member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA).
We are a Quality Management Systems (QMS) BS EN 9002 Registered Firm.
We are a registered member of Construction Line (the UK register of pre-qualified construction services).
Our engineers are trained and qualified on the N.V.Q Lift Industry Training Scheme (LITS) which is guided by EMTA approved instructors and work to strict health and safety guidelines.
The company has received a Craftsmanship Award from Buckinghamshire County Council.

Service
We carry out the maintenance, repair, modernisation, installation and reconditioning of all lifts.
We operate a 24 hour, 365 days a year emergency call-out service.
We offer a rapid reaction speed to all emergency call-outs and work requests.
We can meet these promises due to our high engineer to job ratio and our compact organisational structure which allows complete communication and support throughout company.
The company covers the majority of the south east of England, including: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Greater London.
We specialise in SAFed supplementary tests of in-service lifts (formerly LG1) and Disability Discrimination Act compliance (DDA).
